In collaboration with Prof. Beat Affolter, Permutation will explore the questions:
Why now? What is the cost of the option to wait?What alternative, staged options and strategic approaches exist to avoid the prisoner’s dilemma?
What are my options for action? Once the best option for a company are identified, how do approaches like safety first or impact maximisation affect the construction of a carbon removal portfolio.

A CDR Portfolio
Permutation is developing a Carbon Removal Portfolio Tool. The tool aims to simplify the decision making process of purchasing carbon removal by taking the regulatory, reputational and technical risks into account.
Permutation worked with a large sSwiss corporate and thought leader on carbon removal.
The Project is funded by the CDR-Booster of InnoSuisse.
